This past Monday, Premier Ford announced that places of worship may begin to reopen at 30% capacity starting on Friday, 12 June 2020 as part of Phase 2 of the provincial plan to reopen the economy.

The Bishops of Ontario are currently working on a reopening plan for all parishes in the province. This plan is called WorshipSafe. We are working on adapting this plan to the needs of our parishes in the Diocese of Thunder Bay. In the coming weeks, information will be distributed through the parishes to explain the plan and let you know what to expect when public Masses resume.

This will take some time. While some are anxious to get back to worshiping at church and celebrating the Sacraments, we have to be patient and prudent in our approach. The health and safety of all is the first priority. For this reason, until the plan is in place, all parishes in the Diocese of Thunder Bay will remain closed until further notice.

Further updates will be made as information becomes available. Updates will be available on the parish website and on Facebook.
